The Head of the PMO needed to get Leapfrog 3 - the transformational change of the booking flow - completed. What had originally been scheduled for 9-12 months work had so far taken over two years.

Managed a remote 3rd party development team and in-house infrastructure and service delivery effort through to completion of the agreed function. Replanned phased delivery including the decoupling of 'quick win' deliverables from the previously planned main delivery, enabling earlier realisation of additional revenues for the business.

Adopted a Kanban-based approach - utilising Atlassian's Jira and Confluence tools - in managing software development with the remote team and planned for a live release via multi-variant testing (MVT) - using Oracle Maxymiser.

At the same time, was also responsible for successfully re-starting the stalled implementation of the Planitas ABIS (Airline Business Intelligence System). After a year of zero progress, the blockers were quickly identified and work-plans established that enabled the provision and delivery of this key Revenue Management business initiative.

Rapidly assimilated the multiple (and often complex) revenue models and multiple sales channels to be found in an airline business.
